In hosting this conventon, we sought to provide the Ontario Region with a new, contemporary location, that is acessible to all addicts. The Central lake Ontario Area covers a large geographical portion of Ontario and this reflects the diversity of our province and our fellowship. Throughout each ORCNA, our Area has represented itself in a positive manner with the participation of a large delegation that is enthusiastic, yet considerate of all Areas attending. convention seeks to further enhance this positive attitude with all Areas of the Ontario Region.
The location where the convention will be held is ideally situated to the main artery that feeds the entire province, Highway 401. In the charming community of Ajax, The Garden Hilton and the Ajax Convention Centre are conveniently located together to provide a full service convention faclity. It is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus and GO transit service, with lots of parking n site. Many natural landmarks such as the Ajax waterfront (which is thelongest undeveloped waterfront in the GTA), malls, restaurants, and other tourist attractions exist immediately in the vicinity of this area.
